Anna's mom was killed by a rebel attack. Her father fled, carrying Anna in his arms and trying to find a safe place in the bush. He was caught and shot while still holding Anna. She was found wandering in the jungle and brought to the Wellington Orphanage. It has taken Anna a long time to open up to others but with every passing day, she is becoming more and more comfortable expressing emotion. She now has hugs for others when before there was none. Anna's favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 10:21.
